We all know very well that the big headline of the tech giant Apple’s latest Keynote was, beyond any doubt, the iPhone X. This iPhone model move was the most anticipated, especially for everything it promised to present. But, if you have decided to buy an iPhone X then maybe it will be very difficult for you to buy it until 2018.
Apple’s iPhone X May Be Very Difficult To Buy Until 2018
The big headline of the tech giant Apple’s latest Keynote was, beyond any doubt, the iPhone X. This iPhone model move was the most anticipated, especially for everything it promised to present.
The tech giant Apple has not defrauded expectations and the new iPhone X is totally unique. The question now arises here that when it will arrive in the market, but the first predictions show that it will be difficult to have it before the mid-2018.
Pre-sales of the Apple iPhone X will begin on the 27th of October, more than 1 month after the other new Apple products hit the market, and it is expected to reach users days later, on 3rd November.
It will not be easy to have the iPhone X before 2018
Even with these well-defined Apple’s plans, the first forecasts, coming from reputed Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, show that only in the middle of next year all orders for iPhone X will be met and fulfilled.
Here is what the KGI Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo explains “We believe the fullscreen design and facial recognition features will drive replacement demand for the iPhone X. But due to supply constraints, it is unlikely to demand will match supply until 2018. Hence, Apple will ship around 40 million iPhone X units before the end of the fiscal year, and as many as 90 million in 2018”.
The reason for this delay is the high demand that this smartphone is expected to have, even with a price tag of $999. At the same time, this high demand is expected to lead to constraints in the component supply chain.
Kuo’s predictions indicate that the tech giant Apple is expected to ship 40-50 million units of the iPhone X later this year and by 2018 that number is expected to rise from 80 million to 90 million units.
It was also revealed the (obvious) reason for the arrival date of the new iPhone X to be well behind that of the new Apple devices. The company does not want to disassemble the sales of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, so it created this spacing, taking advantage of the interest created with this release and all the news presented.
So, at the later point in time, the iPhone X will hit the market, once the first iPhone 8 and 8 Plus sales targets have been met, launching a new wave of market interest with the arrival of the new model.
There are many users to buy the iPhone X, but to buy the iPhone X it is important to hurry as the pre-sales will get exhausted as soon as the tech giant Apple will open it.
