If you remember, search giant Google made an important announcement at the Google I/O developer conference this year. World’s biggest search engine announced Google for Jobs, the new service was expected to be rolled out in the US in upcoming weeks that time.
The good news is, the project Google for Jobs goes live today, Google launched an improved job search feature in its mobile and desktop version of Google. So, from now job hunters can find jobs from the search engine itself.
Google has partnered with various job search providers like the Glassdoor, Linkedin, Facebook, CareerBuilder Monster etc. Google will even provide filters and tools that you normally find in other job-seeking platforms.
Users can filter their job listings based on Location, title, date posted, part-time or full time and much more. The new feature is now available in English on desktop and mobile. users just need to type in queries like ‘Jobs near me’, ‘writing jobs’ and the search engine will show the new job search widget which will help users to find their desired jobs.
Google on its blog post said, “In the coming weeks, we’ll add new job listings filters in the Search Analytics report in Search Console, so you can track clicks and impressions for your listings.”
