Google has just received the approval to build its futuristic-looking headquarters in Mountain View. Google had submitted to construct a 2-level 595,000 square feet office building by removing 196 heritage trees on an 18.6-acre project site in May 2015.

Apple is busy placing the finishing touches on its “Spaceship” campus which is in Cupertino. Google has just received the approval to build its futuristic-looking headquarters in Mountain View.

Well, Google’s Mountain view headquarters will be their second largest office location, and it’s a home to both Google and Alphabet. Well, Google had submitted to construct a 2-level 595,000 square feet office building by removing 196 heritage trees on an 18.6-acre project site in May 2015.

On March 7, 2017, the Mountain View City Council finally approved Google’s proposal. Well, the story structure is named “Charleston East, ” and it is designed by Heatherwick Studio and Bjarke Ingles Group.

The entire structure of Google’s Charleson East looks like tent-like thing housing a cluster of buildings underneath. Charleston East is expected to be completed by 2019, and the industry work will start next month.

Charleston East will have a capacity of around 2,700 employees. As expected, Google will allow public access to some areas of the building to share cafes with Google employees.
