Just now the world has seen the MWC2017 event at Barcelona which was held between 27 February to 2 March 2017. Now India is all set to organize its very own Mobile World Congress on September 27.

India To Host Its First-Ever Mobile World Congress This Year

Well, MWC or Mobile World Congress is a combination of the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference which entertain significant mobile operators, manufacturers, tech providers, vendors and content owners from across the world.

Just now the world has seen the MWC2017 event at Barcelona which was held between 27 February to 2 March 2017. Mobile world Congress Shanghai is scheduled to held between 28th June 2017 to 1st July 2017.

Now India is all set to organize its very own Mobile World Congress on September 27. The reason to organize the first ever mobile congress in India is that to reach out the South East Asian Markets.

COAI (Cellular Operators Association of India) Director General Rajan S Matthew told Press Trust of India “There is Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and an edition in Shanghai. There is nothing in between for South East Asia. India is emerging as one of the global leaders in telecom which we will also showcase in the Indian Mobile Congress.”

Well, India is growing at a faster pace now in the telecom industries which makes it an ideal place to organize such useful event, and at the same time, India will get the Golden opportunity to showcase its potential.

Department of Telecom and the Ministry of Electronics and IT have also put in a tremendous effort for the success of the MWC in India. COAI Director General said, “We have held the meeting with official representatives of other governments as well as Indian mobile operators, Facebook, Huawei, Ericsson, Cisco, etc. are likely to participate in the mobile congress.”

COAI Director General said, the GSM Association, which organizes all the global event of MWC has agreed to associate a three-day event that will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from September 27.
