A video showing the last moments of a black man shot by police in Minnesota went viral on the Internet, The video was removed by Facebook for which they later blamed a technical glitch as the reason.

A woman filmed and distributed the live video on Wednesday the last moments of her partner, a black American who was shot by a policeman in the city of Falcon Heights. This Wednesday, while driving their car in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, Philando Castile, his girlfriend and her daughter were stopped by police where Philando Castile was shot by a police officer in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, after being stopped for a broken tail light.
Diamond Lavish Reynolds the girlfriend of Philando Castile immediately live streamed the moments on Facebook just after the shootout. According to Diamond Lavish Reynolds, she said “He killed my boyfriend” “He let the officer know that he had a firearm, and he was reaching for his wallet, and the officer just shot him in his arm.”
However, Facebook was quick enough to remove the video as soon as the video started going viral. The video was uploaded on Youtube and twitter immediately.
According to the video, Diamond Lavish Reynolds captures all the moment that was happening just after Philando Castile was shot by a police officer. Philando Castile slumped in his seat and covered with blood. After that, Diamond Lavish Reynolds was handcuffed and forced to sit in the police vehicle. Philando Castile was taken to the hospital but died shortly after arriving the hospital.
According to the Minnesota government, a racial difference could be a primary cause in the incidence of Philando Castile shooting.
Mark Dayton the Governor of the state said ““Would this have happened if those passengers, the driver and the passengers, were white?I don’t think it would have. So I’m forced to confront, and I think all of us in Minnesota are forced to confront, that this kind of racism exists,”
The video was re-approved by Facebook within an hour but this time with a “Disturbing” warning message. Facebook in defence said “We’re very sorry that the video was temporarily inaccessible. It was down due to a technical glitch and restored as soon as we were able to investigate”
In the incidence of the Philando Castile shooting, Mark Zuckerberg seems to be a very sympathetic person he said “My heart goes out to the Castile family and all the other families who have experienced this kind of tragedy. My thoughts are also with all members of the Facebook community who are deeply troubled by these events.”
