Microsoft Garage division had launched a Lock Screen app for Android users in India. The new app is known as Favorites lock screen app and it’s available in Google Play Store. As the name of the lock screen suggests, the launcher is focused on interests such as ‘favorite’ celebrities, sportsmen, events and much more.

Microsoft’s Garage division is known for its innovative mobile projects and experiments. Previously, we have seen Microsoft launched a new app which is known as Outings. The app allows users to virtually visit beautiful places through their phones.

Now it looks like, Microsoft Garage division had launched a Lock Screen app for Android users in India. The new app is known as Favorites lock screen app and it’s available in Google Play Store.

As the name of the lock screen suggests, the launcher is focused on interests such as ‘favorite’ celebrities, sportsmen, events and much more. With Microsoft’s Favorite Lock Screen, users can create a personalized experience based on their passions and interests.

Suppose you have set your interest in Cricket, the app will show you all latest cricket news along with trends on the lock screen itself. The new lock screen app from Microsoft carries two pages, one just shows Wallpapers and search engine of Bing and the second one is for news and trends.

The Favorites Lock Screen app also comes with an awesome feature which let users place basic functions like Bluetooth, Flashlight, WiFi, etc. on the lock screen itself so that they can be accessed without unlocking the device.
