Nokia Launched Its Own Digital Assistant “MIKA”
Well, we all know Nokia had just made debut in Android market with Nokia 6 smartphone. However, it is a work of HMD Global carrying the name of Nokia. There is the huge expectation from Nokia in the year 2017. Rumors claim that Nokia is about to launch 5-6 Android powered smartphone this year.
Recently, Nokia has arrived with something new that was never expected, a voice-activated digital assistant. The digital assistant, known as MIKA (Multi-Purpose Intuitive Knowledge Assistant) is designed to help and optimize the work in the telecom sector.
MIKA is not a commercial voice assistant for everyday users to make online bookings, play music, to turn on a smart lightbulb, etc. Instead, it is designed to offer quick answers to engineer questions, based on experience drawn from other networks.
The system is powered by the company’s cognitive services platform Nokia AVA. The company said “MIKA – powered by the Nokia AVA cognitive services platform and underpinned by Nokia’s services expertise – will provide voice-dictated automated assistance to reduce time spent searching information resources, enabling operators to focus on key business tasks without being distracted by the complexities of multi-technology network environments,”
Nokia is prepared to unveil their ambitious digital assistant tech at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in 2017.
