Now, the South Korean giant Samsung will soon introduce foldable smartphones and not only that even the South Korean giant Samsung officially teases its first foldable smartphone.

Samsung Officially Teases Its First Foldable Smartphone

The South Korean giant Samsung has been increasing the hype over its foldable smartphone in recent months. The device, which can be called Galaxy F or Galaxy Flex, will be presented next Wednesday 7 with two screens, one of 7.3-inch and another of 4.6-inch. It should have some important differences compared to FlexPai’s flexible smartphone.

According to the Korean website The Bell, the South Korean giant Samsung has placed two OLED screens on its foldable smartphone. The main screen is of 7.3-inch when it fully open, allowing you to use the device as a tablet. It folds inward revealing the 4.6-inch secondary display on the other side, the size that fits in the pocket and the size is even close to a smartphone.

In this way, the main screen is protected when the device is folded, unlike the FlexPai. However, placing two displays can make the device more expensive, increase the thickness and impact the battery life.

However, the South Korean giant Samsung would be using a hinge developed by the well-known Korean company, KH Vatec. As the piece would leave a small space between the two halves of the main screen when it was folded so as not to break with impact.

Samsung’s foldable smartphone and tablet

It seems that the South Korean giant Samsung’s Display division will only start mass production of parts in November. The initial volume would be less than 100 thousand units per month. As this is the company’s, of course, the South Korean giant Samsung’s first foldable smartphone, that’s why it plans to build a few units to see if there is market demand or not.

Rumors say the new device will be called Galaxy F or Galaxy Flex. Its internal codename is “Winner“. According to the well-known media platform, Bloomberg, the South Korean giant Samsung is working with the tech giant Google to develop an Android version for the handset, and it should only launch it in the second quarter.
