Xiaomi Sold Record 1 Million Smartphones Within 48 Hours In India
We all know that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi launched few smartphones in recent times which includes Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The smartphone’s main feature is its screen which is bezel-less.
The company has never failed to impress its users. Recently, Xiaomi has announced that it had managed to sell more than 1 million smartphones during the first 2 days of festive sales.
If we look around, Indian users are enjoying Xiaomi smartphones and Both Amazon India and Flipkart are offering massive discounts on smartphones, laptops, headphones and so on in their “Great India” and “Big Billion” sales.
When it comes to festive sales, Xiaomi has always dominated the market, and this time they have again managed to capitalize massively on these festive sales. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer had managed to sell more than 300 smartphones every minute.
If we take a look at previous year’s statistics, Xiaomi claims that previous year it took them 18 days to sell 10 lakh smartphones. The company even claimed that 8 out of 9 smartphones sold in Amazon India were from Xiaomi and Redmi Note 4 had dominated the smartphone section.
Raghu Reddy who is the head of Online Sales of Xiaomi India said “Our careful planning has also ensured that high selling smartphones such as Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 are in stock throughout the festive sale. We are extremely thankful to all our Mi Fans for their amazing support and will continue to work hard to constantly outdo ourselves as we have done on many occasions in the past”
