As we all know very well the CyanogenMod is one of the best known and most used Android custom ROMs in the world. This ROM possesses a set of options and a level of customization that is not available in stock ROMs set by the manufacturers. Hence, Cyangen Inc. recently announced its latest 14.1 ROM based on Android Nougat for more devices.
Android Nougat-Based CyanogenMod 14.1 Nightlies Arrives On More Devices
The latest data from the distribution of Android versions have made it clear once again that if you want to try the latest Android on your device, you will apparently need to wait. Unless you install a ROM of the community, and none is more popular than the CyanogenMod.
So, do you have an old phone that the manufacturer or carrier has stopped pushing updates to? Then don’t worry about that as the CyanogenMod community could make your old phone alive. Yes, earlier if you all remember, we told you all that CyanogenMod 14 will arrive very soon and what are the devices this latest ROM will be available in the beginning which will be based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
So, at that time if your device was not mentioned in the list then do not worry, as we told earlier that soon they will include or add more devices in the coming weeks. Guess, what’s the most interesting thing about this?
Even, the founder of the CyanogenMod community, Steve Kondik also said “More devices will be added to the list over the coming weeks and maintainers bring everything up to date, so if you don’t see your device listed here just give us a bit of time”.
Finally, the popular ROM community added more devices and here’s the full list of devices that have received CM14.1 nightlies since our last article:
