Xiaomi Mi 6 Release Date Leaked, Tipped To Come In 3 Variants
After nine months with the current flagship in the smartphone market, now it is the time to think about the next generation of Xiaomi Mi5. Earlier we saw that how the head of market research firm IHS Kevin Wang (Kevin Wang) posted on his page on the social network Weibo information about the smartphone Xiaomi Mi6.
However, the Xiaomi Mi6 will be the next top-of-range of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, but we are not talking about a normal top model: we are talking about the first smartphone to be launched with the new SoC of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
Yes, we are talking about a very interesting and most awaited processor that was created by Samsung and Qualcomm together, a SoC that offers some really good performances but above all has a production process of only 10 nanometers.
But, hold on, as we told earlier that it is expected that the device will be released at around the same time when the Samsung’s Galaxy S8 will get its international launch, as it happens and the Snapdragon 835 SoC will also power Galaxy S8.
While the recent leak depicts something different story, as per the leaked promotional ad (courtesy Anzhuo), the upcoming beast of Xiaomi, Mi 6 is expected to be launched on Valentine’s Day next year.
So, if you analyze the photo properly, then you could able to see that white-hued graphically enhanced digit “6” superimposed on the black background with Chinese language and date, February 14, 2017, along with the company’s trademark Mi logo on the top right corner.
Moreover, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be released in three variants. Now, it sounds bit interesting right, as it should be. The expected Xiaomi Mi 6 variants are “Mi 6S, Mi 6E, and Mi 6P”.
Now let’s have a look at the chips, it is expected that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6S will sport Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 835 CPU, whereas the Xiaomi Mi 6E will sport MediaTek’s Helio processor.
But, what about the last one the Mi 6P? So, among the three models, the Xiaomi Mi 6P will be the company’s most exclusive model, as it is said to sport Xiaomi’s in-house built Pinecone series chipset.
Now, if we talk about the rest of the specification of the device, then it is said that the Xiaomi Mi 6 series or all the three variants will arrive with the same specification. As it will sport 16MP-based dual-camera module, 4MP front snapper, QHD screen, run Android 7.0 Nougat OS, 6GB RAM, a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 technology. So, we hope that much more feature details of the Mi 6 series are expected to get leaked in coming days.
