Galaxy S8 Will Steal Another Big Feature From The iPhone 7
We all are aware of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 issue. The phones are exploding due to some serious problems in the factory battery anode and cathode cell contact. Now, we all know very well that Galaxy S8 will be the Samsung’s next flagship handset.
The upcoming device from Samsung is expected to feature a major redesign. Apart from all of this, Samsung is going for an all-screen Galaxy S8 Design which will lack physical home button and might introduce dual-lens rear camera setup just like iPhone 7 plus.
However, the recent report suggests that Samsung Galaxy S8 is not done taking inspiration from Apple. As mentioned by BGR, Dutch site TechTastic found rumblings on Weibo concerning the Samsung Galaxy S8’s storage.
Galaxy S8 will feature 256GB internal memory. Previous year’s Samsung Galaxy S7 only had 32/64GB of built-in storage and then it featured a microSD card slot that can be expanded up to 256GB. However, iPhone 7 is also available in three storage options which include 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
The tech site TechTastic also said that Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature 6GB of RAM which is a significant increase compared to its previous versions. So, it seems like Samsung had taken inspiration from Apple to introduce 256GB internal storage in their upcoming flagship.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come in two variants, sporting either Samsung’s own Exynos chipset or Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor. Some of the other rumors suggest that the phone will include faster wireless charging, iris scanner and will come up with the new Virtual assistant.
