Well, we all know that Samsung is one of the biggest manufacturers of chipset for other companies like Apple and Qualcomm and the company also makes chips for its Exynos line. Well recently, we heard that Samsung is developing Snapdragon 835 for Qualcomm by using the 10nm FinFet process, which is also expected to be found on the upcoming Exynos 8895
According to the site GizmoChina, the specifications for the Exynos 8895 processor have been leaked online, and it shows that the chip will be available in two variants, Exynos 8895M and Exynos 8895V. Well, previous rumors suggested that Samsung is developing a chipset that would clock at 3GHz.
The recent leak suggests that the upcoming Exynos 8895 chipset will have a top clock speed of 2.5Ghz with custom M2 CPU cores. As we already said, there will be two variants of the chips. The first will be clocked at 2.5Ghz and will incorporate a G71 MP20 GPU. The second one will be clocked at 2.3Ghz and will incorporate G71 MP19 GPU.
The other features look similar to the Snapdragon 835. So, it will offer LPDDR4x support, UFS2.1, 4K screen resolution compatibility, Cat. 16 LTE Connectivity.
The new chipset is expected to arrive next year with Samsung Galaxy S8. Samsung had already launched Snapdragon and Exynos version of its flagship. You will find Exynos series of a chipset in Samsung Galaxy J series (2015).
