iOS 15 new features

Apple has rolled out iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and WatchOS 8 for all eligible users. The latest version of the new OS is available for download for iPhones, iPads, and watches with new features.

The download size of iOS 15 is around 3GB. One can manually update the OS by going to Settings >> General >> Software update. Make sure your device is charged more than 50 percent while you download and install the update.

iOS 15 is compatible with iPhone starting from iPhone SE (Gen 1) to iPhone 13 Series. iPadOS 15 is compatible with iPad Pro (5th Gen) to the new iPad Mini.

Apple iOS 15 adds new features to FaceTime like it gets support for spatial audio, SharePlay, Portrait mode, Grid mode, and voice isolation mode.

One of the most important and best features is, now users can share links to FaceTime calls. Even the users who don’t use Apple devices can access these links. With the new update, FaceTime calls will work on Android and Windows-based devices also.

iMessage App

Apple has added plenty of features to the Messages app, especially for Indian users. The users can turn “notifications on or off for unknown senders, promotions, and transactions.” With this, the users get more control over notifications on any type of message. Even the memoji is getting customizable with new stickers, glasses, and more other options.

Focus Mode

It allows the users to customize notification filter based on their preferences. Focus mode helps to organize the app and widget pages on the home screen of the device.

Apple’s Own Authenticator

iPhone will get an in-built authenticator that can be used on accounts enabled with the two-factor authentication. If any site needs a code, go to Settings >> Passwords and have Apple’s authenticator generate a password without using a third-party app.

Find iPhone Even When Turned Off

The Find My app can locate your iPhone even if it’s turned off or erased. If you lose your Airpods, there is new network support that helps you to find your gadget if it’s not connected to Bluetooth.
