Apple Reveals First Details About The New iPhone 8
Just a few weeks ago the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were offered for sale, and now it already begins to arise new rumors and details about the new iPhone 8, although the next should be called iPhone 7s, this new phone will be a big change in Apple’s phone line since 2017 is the 10th anniversary of the launch of the first iPhone which changed the mobile telephony market.
In addition, the new phone has appeared in a report from the Israeli subsidiary of Apple, which announced some details about the features that will be in the next smartphone of Apple, which could be called iPhone 8. Last year the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook visited the office of Apple in Israel and employing around 800 people, who will develope the chip design of the new iPhone.
However, the fact that employees have named the phone in this way which does not mean that the final name will be that, so we’ll have to take the information with tweezers, especially since these devices in development often work with code names before the final name of the product simply to prevent leaks.
If you remember iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S in 2010 and 2011 respectively from Apple, a feature they had finished in glass in the back and front. It seems that this could return, while the edges would remain with a metal finish.
If the iPhone 7 Jet Black and glossy finish were a success, the same shade and glossy finish reach the other tones with the iPhone 8, this clear if Apple manages to make the same bright tone for the gold, pink gold and silver. Recall that the iPhone 4 was sold only in black and white. Globally, about 30% of sales have been made by the company (model Jet Black), suggesting the interest of users for a glossy finish against the matte metallic finish.
Thus, glossiness would be maintained, and would gain resistance to scuffing of the glass in the back. The glass would 2.5D instead of 3D, the only difference is being the curvature of the cut. Thanks to this, resistance wins against a fully curved glass if it is 3D. Finally, the metallic finish is achieved with stainless steel or aluminium edges, using only more expensive stainless steel models, in order to differentiate them.
Furthermore, iPhone 8 is expected to lose holding the Home button, as the new design rumored that it will be based on glass and metals, better rear camera and an OLED display with curved sides similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
