The reason why this handset pulled up so many controversies is because people were interested in knowing how can a company manage to sell an Android Smartphone at the price of Rs 251 which is less than $4.
However, world’s cheapest smartphone “Freedom 251” us going to face a tough competition. Because a competitor had just launched a device which cost just Rs.501 the device name is ChampOne C1 backed by ChampOne Communications, a domestic start-up. The smartphone is based on Android and is available at the price of Rs 501.
