To download apps and games unavailable in your region, you need to change the Microsoft Store region on Windows. This can be done in just a few minutes without using a proxy or VPN server.

How to Fix Microsoft Store Not Opening

Many users have reported that the Microsoft Store does not open after changing the country and region. The problem appears only after changing the Country and region from the Settings.

What’s worse is that switching back to the previous Country & Region doesn’t help. If you are experiencing the same problem, you need to reset the Microsoft Store app. Here’s what you need to do.

1. Click on the Windows Key + R button on your keyboard.

Windows Key + R

2. On the RUN dialog box, type wsreset.exe and press Enter.

wsreset.exe

This will reset the Microsoft Store app on your Windows 11 computer. After making the changes, make sure to restart your Windows computer.

Although changing your Microsoft Store region on Windows 11 is pretty easy, we don’t recommend changing the country or region settings unless you move to a new country or region.
