Elon Musk and 115 other experts alert the United Nations to the danger of killer robots

A couple of hours ago, magnate Elon Musk along with the 115 other specialists in artificial intelligence have signed an open letter to the United Nations, explaining and warning of the danger of accepting killer robots. The general-purpose is to prohibit its use worldwide.

The letter has been published in the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2017) and, explain the different reasons to worry about the use of this type of system, but more because of its speed in the implementation of the market, since it is getting very far, and the numbers are quite encouraging.

The letter contains different specialist in the area, in total there are 26 countries that agree with the open letter to the United Nations. Undoubtedly, we have seen the concern of Elon Musk and everything seems to indicate that soon it could make progress in the problem generated by artificial intelligence. At the moment, no regulations have been established, but in the coming weeks, we could see progress in this regard.
