Microsoft has now officially declared that Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Pc’s won’t be available in the market. However, they will provide security fixes for certain time.

We all know that Microsoft had pushed their new Windows 10 in an aggressive way by partnering with different OEMs and we also know very well that the latest Windows 10 had lots of problems that the reason why Microsoft had pushed the variety of security update for its latest Windows 10.

There are many users who are still using Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PCs. However, the bad news is that Microsoft had previously declared that Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 won’t be available in market after October 31, 2016.

So, Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are officially dead for Microsoft’s money-making machine. Microsoft’s Support page had mentioned that “Every Windows product has a lifecycle. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it’s no longer supported.”

That simply means that now Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 won’t be sold preinstalled on PC. The change will be implemented by Microsoft’s royalty OEM’s like Dell, HP and Lenovo they will now sell Windows PC running only Microsoft’s latest Windows 10.

You may be thinking about existing Windows 7 and Windows 8.1? Well, there is a good news too! Windows 7 will receive updates for security fixes until January 14, 2020, and Windows 8.1 will be receiving until January 10, 2023.
