In recent times, we have seen the value of Bitcoin had reached sky high. Almost every other cryptocurrencies have recorded a steady growth rate. Recently, we have seen Ripple became the second largest cryptocurrency regarding the market capitalization by beating Ethereum.

Now for the first time, Ethereum has reached the $1,000. If we take a look at the market capitalization of Bitcoin, Ripple, and Ethereum; Bitcoin’s cap is $260 billion, Ripple’s cap is $124 billion and Etereum’s cap is $100 billion.

It looks like, Ethereum is quietly gearing up the things and it would be interesting to see how things turn out in the imminent future. Well, the reason behind the recent hike in Ehereum price is still unknown. However, according to the reports from Fortune, this was probably because of several banking giants have announced their plans to test Ethereum blockchain.

Banking giants like Credit Suisse, UBS, and Barclays will be able to “anonymously submit information to the private blockchain, and cross-check for any irregularities.”
