After integrating Snapchat’s ephemeral videos into Facebook Stories, Mark Zuckerberg’s network continues its drive to win over the adolescent audience currently using the competing platform.

The Information caught a code pointing to an app called Talk, an instant messaging application which would basically focus on features most used by teen users, such as games, masks, and stickers, for example.

However, other leaked descriptions so far go against the preferences of this target audience. As the new instant messaging app from Facebook “Talk” would not require a social network profile and would have more appealing tools for parents who could better monitor what their children share.

It is worth remembering that the existence of code fragments does not mean that a complete application exists effectively. The social media giant Facebook, for now, has not confirmed any of this, so it will be better to treat it as rumor until an official announcement is made by the social media giant Facebook itself.
