Airtel bounces back on Reliance Jio. Airtel recently launched a new offer that can take all competition of medium trade to a brand new level.
Forget Jio!! Airtel Offers Free 4G Data For 12 Months
We all must agree that Indians are always at the peak when it comes about available any internet facility. We all know Jio, which is also known as Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited has previously given its users free unlimited 4G data for 90 days.
But, in recent time there were lots of news on the air regarding the Reliance Jio and we have seen Jio is already dominating the Indian telecom market. While if we talk about the Airtel then we all know that Airtel very often releases new offers to attract its customers. However, it failed.
Recently we have seen that Airtel offered V-Fiber Broadband service in India but only in those locations where Airtel’s broadband service already exists. So, there are lot’s of competition going on in the telecom market.
Hence, Airtel had launched a V-Fiber Superfast Broadband services which already rolled out at 87 cities in India. Reliance Jio, which is currently dominating the market owned by Mukesh Ambani already offered free voice calls, SMS, free data to its subscribers. Reliance Jio in a statement said that their main focus is to make “free voice calling for Local, STD and National roaming for all times.”
As we already saw that a few days back Airtel introduced an exciting plan to attract users and to compete Jio. Hence, Airtel is providing 10GB of 4G data on a recharge of just Rs. 259. However, the offer is only available to users who are buying a new 4G Mobile device.
Not only that but Airtel also introduced two amazing offer packs simply to lure customers which were priced at Rs. 145 and Rs. 345 each in which the Rs. 145 pack will offer you 300 MB of 4G data, and free local and STD Airtel-to-Airtel calls. While the second one Rs. 345 pack will offer you 1 GB of 4G data and free local and STD calls to any network in India (not just Airtel). Now, you might be thinking what about the validity right, both the packs will have a validity of 28 days.
But, hold on, still, Airtel have more exciting and luring offers for its existing and new customers, yes, it has recently announced a special offer under which it will offer free data (worth Rs 9,000) for 12 months to customers who will switch to Airtel 4G.
Now many of you might be thinking that to whom this new offer is available right. Don’t worry about that as this new 12 months offer is available to any customer with a 4G smartphone and not only even this new offer is also available to who is currently not on the Airtel network.
So, it means that anyone, including the existing Airtel users, can simply avail this new 12 months offer on upgrading to a new 4G smartphone. But, let me clear briefly that this current new 12 months offer is only available to the customers across India which is starting from January 4, 2017, and this offer will soon get close on February 28, 2017.
While if we talk about the pack then all the prepaid users who are opting for Airtel’s Rs. 345 recharge will be simply eligible for the offer. In addition to free calling and 1GB data which was already promised, users will get 3GB of 4G data. Now, what about the validity? The pack benefits will be valid for 28 days and can be availed for a maximum of 13 recharges till December 31st, 2017.
While if we talk about the postpaid users, the offer of 3GB monthly free data is simply applicable on all “MyPlan Infinity Plan.”
“We are inviting customers to experience 4G through the year on India’s fastest network. We are seeing increasing penetration of 4G handsets across the country and believe that this attractive offer will provide an opportunity to more and more customers to enjoy high-speed broadband on their devices with Airtel” said Ajai Puri who is the Director & Market Operations at Bharti Airtel.
However, what is seriously absurd about Reliance Jio is the fact that under its current Happy New Year offer, Jio still offering free 4G data, Voice calls, Video calls, SMS and Jio Premium App service every day, until March 31, 2017, and it is something which Airtel can not match up to that.
