Google Just Launched An Amazing New App For Android

The tech giant Gooogle wants to enter the field of podcasts in style, and after offering us an integrated tool in the search application itself, the tech giant Google now brings us its first dedicated Podcasts app, which can be downloaded for free from the Google Play store and from anywhere on the planet.

The application is based on the tool we already knew, and adopts a slightly improved interface, as well as new features highly valued by users, which will undoubtedly please lovers of this type of multimedia content. In addition, thanks to the synchronization with the Google Assistant, it will be possible to play our favorite podcasts on any device in a simple way.

Unlike the web version that the tech giant Google offered us just a few weeks ago, this independent application adopts the Google Material Theme design, with a cleaner and clearer interface, reminiscent of the Google News application announced in the past Google I/O 2019.

Nothing else to open the app, we found an own panel christened “For you”, that shows the episodes that not yet we have listened to of the programs to which we are subscribed, as well as recommendations based on our tastes.

“Google Podcasts is a new way to discover and listen to podcasts from around the world on Android. You can subscribe for free to any program and download episodes to listen to them without the connection. Everything you hear is automatically synchronized between your devices, so you can pause playback on one device and resume it on another with the Google Assistant.”

Among the functions of the application, we find the possibility of listening to podcasts without connection as long as we have downloaded them before, as well as synchronization between devices through the Assistant.

In this way, we can start listening to a podcast from the mobile, and continue later in a Google Home speaker. Later, Google intends to add new functions based on artificial intelligence to the application, whose operation has not been disclosed at the moment.

The application is available on Google Play Store, and can be downloaded for free. Later, there will be versions of the app for iOS, as well as a desktop version. On the other hand, the Podcasts Creator Program tool is offered to all those who plan to embark on the adventure of having their own program. Without a doubt, a good start for the tech giant Google when it comes to entering a multimedia sector in full swing.
