The search engine giant Google may be now planning to enter the AI tools phenomena, which is going on around the world right now, as they could launch their own AI chatbot to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

And this response tool to ChatGPT will not take years to enter the market because Google’s CEO expressed that the company is well positioned in the AI field, so it will unveil it in the coming weeks or months.

As we all know, OpenAI launched their AI chatbot in November 2022, and after that, in just 2 months, this AI chatbot called ChatGPT became a global phenomenon and gained millions of users around the globe as it was free for everyone.

As Microsoft is fueling ChatGPT’s developer company with money, so they have a clear way to make it more advanced and better to compete with even search engines in coming years.

To compete with it, Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai showcased a plan to launch their own AI chatbot during its Q4 earnings call.

While he also noted that they have two advanced AI language models called LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) and PaLM (Pathways Language Model), which have been developed by the company in the last few years.

With these language models, Google’s AI chatbot will interact with its users, and there is no doubt Google’s language models would come out better than ChatGPT’s GPT-3 language models because it has multiple advantages compared to OpenAI’s GPT-3.

Besides, Pichai has clearly stated that “In the coming weeks and months, we’ll make these language models available”.

Also, there are rumors that Google will make it official on February 8 as it is holding an event on search and artificial intelligence, which is currently dubbed as “Google presents: Live from Paris“.
