Without any doubt, the arrival of Pixel Smartphones has brought Google to a different level and where it is much more difficult to keep up. We all know that Google had already started to work on Google Pixel 2.

Now it looks like Google’s next smartphone, the Pixel 2 could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 processor. The reports from UberGizmo claims that Google Pixel 2 could be the first phone that will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 836 chipset.

Well, the company haven’t said anything about Snapdragon 836 processor. But, the reports claims that Qualcomm is about to launch the next generation Snapdragon 836 processor later this year.

As we already mentioned there are not many details available concerning Snapdragon 836, but the sources claim that the processor won’t be miles ahead of the Snapdragon 835 in terms of performance. The new Snapdragon 836 is said to feature the same GPU and CPU combo as of Snapdragon 835, but it will have greater clock speeds.

If we talk about Google Pixel 2, the rumors suggest that the smartphone will feature Flexible OLED displays and will boast 8GB RAM. Not only these, Google Pixel 2 could be the first phone to ship with Android 8.0.

Google Pixel 2 is expected to feature a 12MP rear camera with 4K recording and native HDR photos, and an 8MP front with UltraHD recording. However, there are still some months left to know the final specifications of the phone.
