Google’s present CEO, Sundar Pichai has became the highest paid CEO in United States. Regulatory Filing disclosed that Google’s CEO has been awarded $199 Million worth of shares including in his total holdings in Google’s Parental Company, Alphabet to a total of $650 Million, thus making him highest paid of CEO of US.
Google’s CEO Becomes Highest Paid CEO in the US
Sunder Pichai was termed as Google’s CEO last October. According to United States Securities and Exchange Commission filling, Sundar Pichai was consigned over 2,73,328 shares which were of worth $199 Million.
According to Forbes, Google Founders, Larry Page and Sergey have a whopping net worth of $35.3 and $34.5 Billion respectively.
Sunder Pichai was not the sole person in the Google to receive massive pay. Ruth Porat, Alphabet’s Chief Financial Office was also given shares valuing $38 Million. He was given bonus of $30 Million for joining the Google last year. Head of Google’s Cloud Computing Business, Diane Greene received stock valuing $42.8 Million.
Google’s Parental Company Alphabet overhauled Apple as the worlds most valuable company after the massive profit of $4.9 Billion in 4th Quarter 2015.
Now Sunder Pichai’s total stock value over $650 Million. Pichai’s share award will vest incrementally each quarter until 2019.
Experts maintain that Google generated sales of £24bn ($34.6bn) in the UK between 2005 and 2014, with an estimated profit of about £7.2bn each year on those sales.
