In 2016, Huawei Mate 9 was the smartphone chosen by the Chinese brand to introduce the Kirin 960, its high-end or you could say the flagship processor.

With the approach of the presentation of the new Mate 10, some rumors indicate that again the Chinese brand Huawei will choose a flagship smartphone to present its new high-end processor Kirin 970.

Huawei is one of the smartphone brands that has grown the most in recent times. To make their models better, Huawei has focused on developing its own processors, allowing much greater control over its performance. This bet has been won, especially after the launch of its latest top-of-the-line Kirin 960, which has already brought its performance closer to its competition.

Although in general, the brands choose to launch their new processors with the star smartphones, as would be the case of the P10 or P11, Huawei has chosen to present the novelties at the end of the year, to accompany its line of phablets. This year, by all accounts, this will be no exception, with the new Kirin 970 to be released along with Huawei Mate 10.

According to a publication in Weibo, a Chinese social network, the new Kirin 970 should be built at 10nm, just like the Snapdragon 835. Considering that the Kirin 960 was built at 16nm, this should mean that the new Huawei chip should be More sparing and more powerful. This new chip is expected to bring eight cores with a four-core configuration Cortex-A73 to 3GHz and four other Cortex A-53 cores at 1.8 GHz while if we talk about the GPU then it expected that the GPU will be a Mali-G71.

As for the smartphone that will accompany this new processor, the Huawei Mate 10, latest rumors advance that it should have a screen of 6″ with almost nonexistent margins, identical to the Samsung S8, in addition to being accompanied by the aforementioned Kirin 970. At the level of the camera, a double chamber with Leica imprint should be kept, although an interesting novelty, a front double chamber, may appear.

In another rumor that has circulated, it is also pointed out the likelihood of the new Mate 10 being Huawei’s first smartphone not to bring the Jack 3.5mm connector, something that should not be liked by many fans of the brand.

However, still, without a release date or price, the new Huawei Mate 10 should be introduced this year in October 2017.
