India Beats the United States For Having The Maximum Facebook users
According to some recent reports released by Facebook, India Beats the United States and many other countries in terms of Facebook Users. It is said that India has maximum Facebook user all over the world. There are about 240 Million active users in the USA, India beats it by a margin of 1 million by having 241 Million active users of Facebook.
According to Facebook advertisers, India is is at the first position in the largest number of active users tally. Beating the United States to have the most number of active users on Facebook until now.
If we see, only 241 Million out of 462 Million Internet users in India use Facebook on a daily basis. We all know that India is a highly Populated Country, Whereas 240 out of 280 Million in the United States uses Facebook, which is more than 90% of its total population if we compare that to India. This means that a larger portion of the Indian Internet population is still not using Facebook despite Facebook reaching 2 Billion active users recently.
It is also worth noting that 84% of total Active Facebook users in India access the social networking site from their mobile devices. Rest there is the population who uses a Web browser on Pc/Laptop to use Facebook. Although the majority of people that use Facebook in India are from the Facebook App. This shows that a larger population of India have access to a smartphone and a reliable internet connection thus denoting the success that leads to the evolution of Digital India.
Facebook recently has launched the Facebook Messenger Lite in India and the increased growth of internet connections across the country. The numbers are expected to grow in the Coming Future and India might retain the top spot for the coming years if this trend continues. while no other country has ever done this India is the only country to Get Into Most Facebook users country.
Though, if we see closely India has nearly the twice the population as of some other countries so taking that in mind here the users of Facebook will me more as expected. We can expect that there can be more user adding to this list and India can be in the Top spot from now onwards.
