iPhone 14 Pro Pro Max's Larger Camera Bump for New 48MP Lens

Since last December, we all got this rumor that iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max may feature a 48MP sensor as the primary camera, and recently, a tipster, Max Weinbach, has shared schematics of the iPhone 14 models.

In the shared schematics of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, the camera bump was larger than the iPhone 13 pro. After that, the well-reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the larger camera bump of the iPhone 14 Pro models is due to the 48MP sensor at the back.

If Apple may feature this 48MP camera, this will be the first time that the iPhone model features a 48MP primary lens. Ming-Chi Kuo has also explained the diagonal length of 48MP CIS.

Max Weinbach shared schematics of the iPhone 14 models in his Twitter post, where Max also mentioned the height and width of the Camera Bump, and we noticed that there is increasing of a width of 35.01mm to 36.73mm and a height of 36.24mm to 38.21mm.

Then Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has explained this all-camera upgrade in his Twitter post.

Kuo explained that after the prominent camera bump, the 48MP sensor would increase the diagonal length by 25-35% and the height of the 48MP sensor’s 7P lens would increase by 5-10%. Currently, Apple uses the same old 12MP sensor for the primary lens of its iPhone models.

The height of the camera bump on the current iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max is 3.60mm tall. But according to the latest schematics, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max’s rear camera bump would be 4.17mm tall.

Kuo earlier also said that the camera of the iPhone 14 Pro models will “elevate mobile phone camera photography to a new level.”

Recently, iPhone 14 details also got leaked about Getting a Dual Punch-Hole Design & Gold Colour.
