Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s Twitter Account Was Hacked
After taking down the accounts of Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai and Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the hacker group OurMine has now targeted the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, yes, OurMine claimed that they hacked the Jack Dorsey’s Twitter account. As the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is the latest victim of the hacker group OurMine, when it comes to the hacking of social media accounts belonging to the topmost silicon valley executives.
As the incident became known just after the hackers OurMine group posted a few gracious video clips, a tweet went up at 2:50AM saying “Hey, its OurMine, we are testing your security” and linking to their website as well as the hacker group OurMine also embedded a video of their theme songs in one of the tweets.
According to the sources, it was assumed that the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, later recovered his hacked account just within 45 minutes after being hacked, and the tweets were removed afterward. However, the hackers group OurMine did not get direct access to the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s Twitter account as the tweets were posted via Vine.
As we mentioned earlier that the hackers group OurMine has previously taken over some social media accounts of other topmost Silicon Valley executives, like Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s Quora account and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter and Pinterest accounts.
Furthermore, the hackers group OurMine pretends that it focused only on security, hence, their intentions were not foul. Actually, they hack user’s account just to bring out the security flaws in the user’s account.
As the hackers group, OurMine said that “We are just trying to let them know that nobody is safe,”.
