Mark Zuckerberg is an American computer programmer and internet entrepreneur. Right now he is the chairman, chief executive officer, and co-founder of Facebook. At the start of every year, Mark Zuckerberg takes up a resolution.

Each January, Mark Zuckerberg rings in the new year with a new resolution like learning Mandarin, building an artificially intelligent assistant, running 365 and more.

However, it looks like his resolution for 2019 is a little bit different and far less personal, far more vital. You will be surprised to know that Mark Zuckerberg’s New Year’s has taken a new year resolution to fix his social media platform Facebook.

He wrote on Facebook “We currently make too many errors enforcing our policies and preventing misuse of our tools. Facebook has a lot of work to do, whether it’s protecting our community from abuse and hate, defending against interference by nation states, or making sure that time spent on Facebook is time well spent.”

Well, the previous year, Facebook was heavily criticised for spreading ‘fake news’. Users have criticized Facebook by saying that the social media platform has helped elect President Trump.

Facebook in the month of September 2017 said “Our teams have found and shut down thousands of fake accounts that could be attempting to influence elections,”

So it looks like, Mark Zuckerberg has taken up a challenge to fix Facebook’s most challenging problems like ending the abuse of its platforms, whether it’s election interference efforts, fake news or any other evil practices.
