Microsoft has announced a new version of the Office suite, Office 2021. Apart from this, the company is all set to launch the new Operating System, Windows 11. Office 2021 will launch along with Windows 11 on 5th October 2021.

Earlier in 2019, Microsoft released Office 2019; after that, there was no new version, so it looked like the company will not release any standalone version of Office. However, the software giant has released new details of Office 2021.

Office 2021 Release Date

Microsoft will release Office 2021 globally on Tuesday, 5th October. It is the same date of the Windows 11 release, which will be a free update for Windows 10 users.

Pricing Details of Office 2021

The price for Office Home and Student 2021 is $149.99; it comes with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Teams for PC and Mac.

The business version price is around $249, which also includes everything the same as the regular version with all business apps and features.

The new version of Office will not use a subscription model for the pricing; it will get many features in Microsoft 365 like real-time co-authoring, OneDrive support, and Microsoft Teams integration.

Office 2021 is designed to fit in with many other apps that are available on Windows 11. However, it will have a refreshed interface, round corners, and a neutral color palette.
