3. In this menu, you will see the options “View More”, “Cancel” and “Add to favorites”.
4. If you tap the Add to Favorites option, the sticker will be added directly to your personalized keyboard section.
5. Now, your desired sticker will get saved in the favorite section of the WhatsApp Stickers gallery.

When I tap on a sticker someone sent on WhatsApp it only highlight the sticker, it doesn’t give me any options to save it. This happened after I reinstalled WhatsApp on my Android. Apparently all the stickers get saved into MyFiles.
Hold click on the WhatsApp sticker. Then, from the top popup bar, click on the star button.
