More and more, unfortunately, the news about smartphones that have exploded are still emerging. After the popular case of Samsung Note 7, where it was proven that the problem was in the batteries, now the news that comes to us are an Apple iPhone 7 Plus from its rival Apple.

According to the information, the device iPhone 7 Plus will have exploded without apparent cause, but fortunately, there were no injuries to register.

Brianna Olivas, an American user, revealed on her Twitter that her iPhone 7 Plus has exploded for no apparent reason. The user has published a video where you can see the device leaving smoke and also some images that show well the damage.

Speaking to Mashable, Brianna Olivas revealed that her iPhone 7 Plus caught fire for no apparent reason and that her boyfriend immediately laid her in the water.

Here is what the victim, Brianna Olivas stated “The next morning I was asleep with my phone charging next to my head, my boyfriend grabbed the phone and put it on the dresser.

I’ve been to the [sic] restroom … and from the corner of his eye he saw my phone steaming and [heard] squealing noise. By the time he got over to the phone it had already caught fire, he quickly grabbed the phone and threw it in the restroom … as soon as he threw it in the restroom it [sic] blew up and more smoke started coming out of the Phone”.

After that, Olivas handed her iPhone 7 Plus to the tech giant Apple for an exhaustive assessment and, thus, to try to find out the reason for the explosion. Through a spokeswoman, the tech giant Apple said it is aware of the case and the company is already in contact with the user.
