It looks like, telecom company Vodafone has announced a new plan for its postpaid customer which is intended to compete with Reliance Jio. The new Superweek recharge from Vodafone is only available to prepaid customers and the plan right now offers unlimited Local and STD calls to any network along with 500Mb Data.

Vodafone Offers Unlimited Calls + 500MB Data At Rs. 69

If we take a look at India, almost every user has given up their home internet connection while using the free services provided by Reliance Jio. If you don’t know much about Reliance Jio then let me tell you, the telecom company had previously offered free calls, internet & SMS for almost 9 months.

However, Reliance Jio had started to charge its users and the revised plans are little expensive. There are lots of competition going on in the telecom section. It looks like, telecom company Vodafone has announced a new plan for its postpaid customer which is intended to compete with Reliance Jio.

The new Superweek recharge from Vodafone is only available to prepaid customers and the plan right now offers unlimited Local and STD calls to any network along with 500Mb of bundled data usage at just Rs 69. The best thing about this offer is it’s not restricted to one-time recharge, users can do a weekly recharge to avail the benefits.

The validity of the plan is set to 7 days. Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director of Consumer Business at Vodafone India said “We, at Vodafone, believe in providing the best network, service experience and value to our customers. With SuperWeek, the key objective is to offer a pocket friendly and affordable unlimited plan that will appeal to all prepaid consumers. This plan will further enable our customers to remain confidently connected and enjoy a worry free Vodafone SuperNet 4G experience on our best network ever.”

A similar type of plan is also offered by Reliance Jio, however, Jio provides unlimited calls for 7 days and with more data allocation. Reliance Jio weekly prepaid pack of Rs 52 provides 1.05GB data which is capped to 150Mb per day.

So, it looks like Reliance Jio again winning the race here. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
