“I feel very fortunate to have the flexibility to take on new risks and concentrate on what I am passionate about, so I have decided to focus on non-profit activities related to technology and communications,” said the co-founder of WhatsApp, of course, Brian Acton. He also said that in the coming months he will be able to give more details about his project.
The co-founder of WhatsApp, which is actually owned by the social network giant Facebook, Brian Acton basically studied at Stanford University and founded in 2009 WhatsApp, the most used instant messaging app with the Ukrainian immigrant Juan Koum. Both worked on Yahoo before starting on the messaging application project.
Later, in 2014, the most used instant messaging app WhatsApp was bought by the social network giant Facebook for 19,000 million dollars and it currently has over 1 billion active users.
