We all know that WhatsApp is the most widely used instant messaging app and currently WhatsApp is testing an unusual feature for its Messenger app that may not appeal many users.
WhatsApp Messenger Just Got A Powerful New Feature
There are a huge variety of applications, but only a few are installed virtually on all mobile devices. WhatsApp is one of them, with more than 1,000 million active users each month. This company, owned by Facebook since 2014, has managed to sneak into our phones and enter the list of essential apps.
This does not mean that it is the best or the only one. There are very interesting alternatives such as Telegram, which is faster to implement new features, such as deleting sent messages or creator of GIFs.
However, what weighs most is the number of people who use it, because a messaging app is useless if we cannot talk to who we want and in this aspect, WhatsApp is the undisputed leader. But there comes a feature that may not appeal to many users.
If it is not enough to control the controversial double blue check, with which it is difficult to lie by saying “I have not read” or “yes I read.” But, hold on now even if anyone wants to lie or say that “I’m on the way” then beware, as, with the next update, WhatsApp will also share our location with our contacts.
The new feature – which they call “Live Location” will simply use the GPS positioning of the smartphone to say where we are to our contacts in real time. But calm, because it will be optional and will only work in group chats.

According to the tech media Engadget, WhatsApp may well inform about our exact location over a period of time marked. We may limit this “Sneak Mode” to the minutes you want and remains disabled by default.
This tracking function is being tested by the company in the beta versions of the application, both Android and iOS. There is still no date set for the final version, but when it does, WhatsApp will allow you to sneak like this. So, what do you think about this feature?
