Meet The World’s Toughest & Fastest SD Memory Card

As we all know very well that each and every year tech companies are rapidly innovating new things and technologies simply to make our life much simpler and better. The external storage with microSD cards has always supported us by giving extra storage space that we needed so badly.

But to compete this segment we saw that how the South Korean giant Samsung announced its first UFS memory cards (Universal Flash Storage), which have the dimensions similar to the microSD cards. But, they are 5 times faster, absurdly with reading rates of up to 530 MB/s.

Memory cards are part of the gadgets that you will lose, break and will complain that do not transfer 4K 60p videos with too much speed. But, now Sony has solved this difficulty and has launched new models of a TOUGH line, with UHS-II specifications and can store up to 128GB of data.

According to Sony, the new cards can dive for 72 hours at a depth of up to five meters and the files will remain there due to the safety of the single piece of plastic in which they are built.

Yes, the outside of the new SD card of Sony can simply withstand 18 times more force than a standard SD card without breaking and there are no moving parts to offer fragility – the manufacturer has removed the write lock, which is on the side of the product.

As the whole body is made of one plastic, even the connectors are safer and will hardly be broken. In addition to the resistance, the new cards are capable of working with 300 MB/s for reading and with a promise of 299 MB/s for writing – along with the V90 speed standard for writing files to internal memory.

This standard is a guarantee that the time between one shot and another in-camera burst mode will be shorter when the buffer is already full. According to the well-known Japanese technology company, of course, I am talking about Sony it is possible to shoot with up to 20 photos per second and without stopping.

Of course, with such strength and speed, these memory cards will be very expensive and really they should be. The 32GB version costs $72.99, the 64GB variant will simply cost $131.99 and to double the 64GB space, yes, the 128GB variant SD card will cost surreals $275.99.

Moreover, if we talk about the launch of this new cards, then let me clarify that this new cards’ launch will take place during the month of October 2019.
