Xiaomi Launches Mi Note 2 Special Edition With 6GB RAM
Xiaomi had launched Mi Note 2 in October last year along with Xiaomi Mi Mix. Now Xiaomi had rebuilt its last years Mi Note 2 with some changes in configuration and tweaks done here and there and they named it as the Mi Note Special Edition. We have seen Samsung do something like this with their Samsung Note 7 which they named as the Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition. Same with the Mi Note 2 Special Edition. Nothing much changes in the specs it’s just the change in configuration by little some.
Xiaomi’s special edition of the Mi Note 2 brings some little changes in its configuration. Well, this new device does not pack something precious else there is a change in the storage and RAM configurations. Xiaomi at present is one the most trending brand of smartphones, where the difference between RAM and internal storage play a great role to bring users to buy their smartphones. If we see people value storage and Ram more than the rest of the configuration that is present in the device. Xiaomi has looked into this topic of expanding of Ram and Storage or its users.

If we look at the specifications the Mi Note 2 Special Edition comes with Android 6.0 marshmallow out of the box. The Mi Note 2 Special Edition is powered by the latest Snapdragon 821 which clocked at 2.35GHz.
Talking about storage and Ram it comes with optional 4GB/6GB of RAM with 64GB and 128 GB internal storage options. To the camera point of view, the Mi Note 2 Special Edition has a 22.56 Megapixel Sony IMX318 Exmor sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 lens a PDAF, and EIS with 3-axis gyroscope for 4K video stabilization. To the back and on the front the Mi Note 2 Special Edition has an 8MP front camera with a Sony IMX268 sensor for taking beautiful selfies and some wide angle shots.
To backup all these Specifications the Mi Note 2 Special Edition has a huge 4070mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Xiaomi is selling the Mi Note 2 special edition for CNY 2899 that is somewhat approx $426 and Xiaomi is giving a massive discount on the product of CNY 300. After the discount, you will get the special edition smartphone for CNY 2599 which is $382.
