Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone, Xiaomi Meri and it was recently spotted in two benchmarking sites the images of the phone were also leaked online.

As we all know, Xiaomi has delivered some huge hit and already dominated the smartphone market since it was launched and let me tell you that the company is in no mood to stop. You might be familiar with Xiaomi Mi5 which was released a couple of months ago.
Now the latest leaks suggest few details about the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi that will be called Xiaomi Mi 5C which will be codenamed as Meri. Xiaomi Meri will be the full metal smartphone. This smartphone resembles the Mi 5 quite a bit.
Recently, Xiaomi Meri passed from Antutu and Geekbench the leak gives us the opportunity to learn more about it. The images were also revealed. The Geekbench listing revealed that Xiaomi Meri will come with 3GB RAM, and will run on Android version 6.0 Marshmallow. The chipset of the phone is not listed but will be a four Cortex-A53 of 2.2GHz and another four will not exceed 1.4GHz .
Xiaomi Meri scored 758 on the single-core test and 3105 and 3043 on the multi-core test. If we take a look at AnTuTu listing it revealed some extra information regarding the phone. The display will be somewhere between 5.2 inches to 5.5 inches with 1080×1920 pixel resolution.
Xiaomi Meri will run on Mali-T864 GPU. The phone could have 64GB of internal storage capacity. The leaked image suggests that the phone will have the sleek design and a rectangular home button in the front, possibly housing a fingerprint scanner.
There is no further information regarding Xiaomi Meri. However, it is expected that company could make it available this quarter, possibly at the end of this month.
