Recently, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi confirmed to be working on Mi Mix 2, the successor of the phablet with screen occupying virtually its entire front. Even it also hinted that soon it will launch the Mi Mix 2 with an In-Display fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Will Come With An In-Display Fingerprint Sensor
One of the best mobiles of 2016 was the Xiaomi Mi Mix that revolutionized by its screen that covers the majority of the front and by its elegant design thanks to the good work of the Philippe Starck.
Since its introduction, there have been rumors of a successor who could even cover a greater percentage of the screen and that it was on sale in the market in a much more globalized way.
The latest rumors say that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is close to its design completion to begin production and go on sale before the new iPhone. Xiaomi’s strategy with its new Mi Mix 2 is to become, once again, the most revolutionary phone on the market combining a striking external appearance with a good technological portent.
Apart from this, recently more details have surfaced online that actually claims that the Mi Mix 2 will simply feature a fingerprint sensor which the Chinese smartphone manufacturer could place it beneath the display.
Sounds really different right when it sounds that a Fingerprint sensor beneath the display. As a Chinese fingerprint making firm, recently unveiled its new in-display fingerprint technology at MWC 2017 so it is clear that it will not be totally a conceptual idea.
For this Xiaomi should do without any reference to the button in the front area and hide all the features behind the screen, something that would have to see if the sensor technology is advanced enough for it.
