Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Leaked Renders Show Dual Camera Setup & A Near Bezel-Less Design
Although Xiaomi bets on a wide range of smartphones all well positioned at the quality/price level, it is in the Redmi Note line that it focuses one of the biggest sales successes. After two versions with great success, the first images of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 begin to appear.
The vast range of Xiaomi products, smartphones continue to represent an important source of sales. Known for their excellent value for money, there are several Chinese brand solutions for the various ranges.
Analyzing the model history of this brand, in addition to the success of top models like Mi4, Mi5 and Mi6 and respective variants, there is another series that has reached a strong success, the Redmi Note. Both Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4 marked the average range of phablets with excellent features for the asking price, making it a more than recommended purchase for those who did not want to spend a lot.
Following the evolution of this series, Xiaomi is already preparing to present the next generation, with the first renders of what may be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
With the greatly reduced margins and a rear double camera system, the Redmi Note 5 closely resembles its predecessor, following the same aesthetic line.
At the level of features, it is advanced that this new phablet will bring a screen of 5.5″ FullHD (1920 x 1080), Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or 660 processor, 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage.
At the photographic level, as the picture indicates, we expect a dual camera system with 16 and 6 MP sensors and dual LED flash. The front camera should be 13 MP.
The battery may suffer a setback compared to its predecessor, bringing “only” 3790 mAh with QuickCharge 3.0, will have a fingerprint sensor at the rear, 3.5mm jack, USB connector type-C, IR sensor and will be 7.5mm thick.
According to the prices that have been advanced to China, the model with Snapdragon 630 and 3 GB of RAM would cost $175 and the model with Snapdragon 660 and 4 GB of RAM would be available for $205 with 32 GB of internal storage and $220 with 64 GB. These prices were obtained through direct exchange and do not reflect any additional cost of taxes and logistics, so the final value for Asia should be higher.
The successor to one of the most successful series of Xiaomi is already taking shape. If the characteristics presented are confirmed, this model is set to once again become an almost obligatory purchase.
