Motorola has rolled out the Android Nougat 7.1 update for its Moto M smartphone in India, as per a report of TechDroider. The smartphone was launched last year in 2016 with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system running in it. The update comes with build XT1663_S356_170621_ROW and the update brings Nougat 7.1. Apart from this, there are some news applications added one of them is the Google Duo.
The latest update to the Moto M is 1499MB in size, which is approx 1.4GB in size and it is larger as a new Android version is installed. It is noted that users should download the OTA update with a stable wifi connection as the file size is over 1.4GB in size. The update rolls out different looks in the Moto M and it looks somewhat new as in nougat many interfaces are changed.
Android Nougat brings in a bunch of new features to the table some features include split-screen multitasking, a better look and performance in the Google keyboard, a smooth interface change in the notification panel and there are updates in the wallpapers.
