It was launched the last year back in October 2016 on few Foreign countries like Kenya, Tunisia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Venezuela and now it has ultimately arrived in India.
In April this year 2017, Facebook launched the Messenger Lite in 132 more countries including Germany, Colombia, Italy, Vietnam and many more important countries but the messaging app was not launched in India. Today Facebook has finally launched the app in India Officially.
Facebook Messenger Lite works on the motive to consume less data which is same as the Facebook Lite and is designed to work in areas with slower internet connections or someone with Limited Data Connection. This is best for people with older Android phones that don’t have a lot of memory or has limited processing power. The Messenger Lite app is flexible as all other apps, it can run on any versions of Android (Android 4.0+ recommended) and again takes up less space and also uses fewer data. So, If we see all in all it’s an advantage over the advantage to its users.

In my personal opinion, the Messenger Lite App is highly recommended to use by all Facebook Users.
