Specifications
Portal Go
Portal Go features a 10-inch display and has a 12MP camera and an ultra-wide field-of-view (FoV). The device comes with long-lasting batteries to enable long video calls while in handheld mode. The company has doubled the portable speaker with room-filling sound to listen to music in your home.
Portal+
Portal+ features a 14-inch display with a 12MP Smart Camera and an ultra-wide FoV. It brings stereo speakers that provide high-fidelity sound.
The new models get a new “household mode,” which lets the users share Portal and control others’ access to their contacts and apps. And it is a way to watch TV via the product with the users who are not using a portal device.
While talking about the features, Facebook said,
“Its stereo speakers deliver high-fidelity sound for crystal-clear audio. With the rise of remote and hybrid work models, Portal makes a perfect dedicated screen for work calls, freeing up your computer to take notes, view a presentation or multitask. And it’s also great for connecting with family and friends when the work day is over.”
The company is also introducing Portal for Business; it is a new service for SMBs to Portal’s video calling. However, it is currently in closed beta in the US.
