Well, the new security implementation is facial recognition. The company has been found testing the new security feature within a small group of users, facilitating recovery in cases of hacking attempts or forgotten password.
Well, the feature was spotted by Matt Navarra from The Next Web, the new facial recognition feature shows a screen in the Facebook app which asks users to look at the camera.

Well, according to the reports from TechCrunch, Facebook has confirmed that the facial recognition feature will be a handy alternative to two-factor SMS authentication.
Well, if we talk about Facebook security features, the network already has a feature in which it asks users to identify people in photos. The identify people feature helps users to recover their lost account.
Further information like when the feature will be officially available when it will roll out is still not known. It’s possible that Facebook is checking the reliability of the tool before releasing it to more users.
