This project has been presented by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). T-Flight is the name with which they have dubbed this flying train. And, it would be a train that could combine technologies of supersonic planes and high-speed rail, this latest tech China develops very well.
The train would travel through a vacuum tube by magnetic levitation. In addition, it would have engines capable of generating a magnetic field that will allow the train to levitate on the tracks, yes, this is a magnificent idea.
The goal is the connection
Yes, China wants to connect the cities of Beijing and Wuhan, both separated by a distance of about 1,157 km, a considerable amount. Also, the company hopes to connect with other cities in China and we could expect the connection to Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
CASIC has managed to patent more than 200 patents to carry out this incredible project. However, different experts say that they are very doubtful that the train can reach a speed of 4,000 km/h, but China is certainly a power and it is not strange that it can achieve such a project.
In addition, we must face the human body, as Professor Zhao Jian of the Beijing Transportation University claims that our body would only be able to withstand such speed for a short time.
