Hackers have managed to break into the HBO networks. According to the reports from EW, hackers have leaked the unreleased episodes of TV Shows. The email from the hackers which was sent to few reporters labeled the leak as the greatest leak of ‘CYBERSPACE ERA’.
HBO Hacked: Game Of Thrones Data Leaked Online
Well, the world has just faced the massive cyber attack of Ransomware like Petya and WannaCry. A few days ago we have seen a group of hackers managed to steal from Disney the film Pirates of the Caribbean 5.
Now, hackers have managed to break into the HBO networks. According to the reports from EW, hackers have leaked the unreleased episodes of TV Shows. The reports also claim that hackers have claimed to grab the script of upcoming Game of Thrones.
The leaked episodes are said to be belonging to Room 104 and Ballers. According to the reports from EW, HBO has confirmed the leak in a statement by saying “HBO recently experienced a cyber incident, which resulted in the compromise of proprietary information”
HBO further claimed that they are working to figure out what’s going on and already started to investigate this matter with the help of cyber security firms and law enforcement. Approximately 1.5TB of data has been leaked. That’s not all, hackers have also said that more is coming soon.
If we talk about Game of Thrones leak, HBO hasn’t commented anything on this. However, the email from the hackers which was sent to few reporters labeled the leak as the greatest leak of ‘CYBERSPACE ERA’. Until now, the biggest hack in Entertainment section has been faced by Sony, where more than 20,000 emails and video files were leaked online.
The HBO and Game Of Thrones leak email read “What’s its name? Oh, I forget to tell. It’s HBO and Game of Thrones……!!!!!! You are lucky to be the first pioneers to witness and download the leak. Enjoy it & spread the words. Whoever spreads well, we will have an interview with him. HBO is falling,”
