Well, iPhone 8 is about to feature a “revolutionary” new front-facing camera and infrared sensor module which can scan the 3D environment in front of it. This new technology is fueled by PrimeSense algorithms, which Apple acquired in the year 2013.
This new front-facing 3D camera technology will let users take selfies in 3D. According to the reports from 9to5 Mac, this new camera technology will be used in next-generation mobile games where players can place their 3D head on video game character’s body.
