It’s almost 21 days since the Kickass Torrents website went down. Kickass Torrent, with thousands of daily users, the portal KickassTorrents was one of biggest torrent sites and exceeded the popularity of The Pirate Bay. But as all torrent lover know the owner of KickassTorrents, Artem Vaulin who was 30 years old Ukrainian was arrested.

Artem Vaulin, the founder of KickassTorrents was charged with multiple crimes which include copyright infringement, money laundering as well as aggravating of conspiracy to commit both crimes. According to the official documents, it would be responsible, through KickassTorrents, the distribution of more than $1 billion illegal content.

The previous week, we came to know that the Kim Dotcom’s lawyer, Ira Rothkem will represent Artem Vaulin in the court. However, after all those happenings now Torrent freaks reported that one of the most popular domain has gone up for the sale.

According to the reports of Torrent freak, the domains that U.S has so far taken ownership are KickassTorrents.com, Kastatic.com, and Thekat.tv. The report also added that Kickass.to was also felt in the hand of US rapidly since it was within the easy reach of the U.S law enforcement agencies.

The most amazing part here is two of the company’s main domain Kat.cr and Kickass.cr are not yet seized. However, the Costa Rican authorities had shown no interest to reveal the owners of the domain name.

According to the Torrent Freak, the WHOIS Records shows that Kickass.cr is up for sale. Those who are interested in purchasing Kickass.cr domain are automatically redirected to the SEDO marketplace. After few bids, the minimum cost asked is only $230.

As we all know that how strict the U.S government is so we can easily assume that there are hardly any chance that the sale might happen.
